6:00 pm - 7:00 pm "Winning with Asthma" Seminar for Parents and Coaches. Learn how to reduce, recognize and respond to asthma attacks, featuring inspiring and informative talks by Haruki Nakamura and Dr. Alvin Sanico.

Haruki Nakamura who plays safety for the Baltimore Ravens successfully tackled asthma while pursuing his goal of playing football in college and in the NFL. Dr. Alvin Sanico who is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins and director of the Asthma Sinus Allergy Program at GBMC is an Asthma and Allergy specialist.

Coaches can earn a signed Certificate of Participation. Free dinner is available before the seminar. One attendee will be chosen by random draw to get a free 3rd gen iPod touch with preloaded iAsthma app. The screening and seminar are sponsored by the Asthma Sinus Allergy Program at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (ASAP@GBMC) and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America Maryland-DC Chapter with generous support from the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the GBMC Foundation.
